Traditional and Tension Pole Marquees
The Traditional Pole Marquee has been familiar throughout the UK for over 600 years. Its graceful curved roof is its most distinctive feature. Our design has been developed and tested on site over the last 70 years!
We also offer Tensioned Pole Marquees - with no ridge pole and ratchet tensioning, wall pole at 1.5 - 2m centres it is a radical upgrade to bring the traditional shape up to date.

| DESIGN STRENGTH We were the first British manufacturer to pass British and European windloading standards on our pole tents. This means that they are designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 36m/s, dependant on anchorage and windspeed conditions. We use high strength webbing at all tension points to improve performance and increase the life of the Marquee. Our eyelets are stainless steel - not brass - and can be holding up to 6 thicknesses of fabric. They are designed to avoid damage and tearing. |
FABRIC SPECIFICATION Our Traditional Marquees are available in Polycotton (new type of canvas) and PVC. Both fabrics are Fire Retardent, UV stabilised & anti-fungal. Polycotton is stronger than canvas, and less likely to rot if maintained correctly. |  |
 | NO LEAKS Our Traditional Marquees do not leak...from day 1! This is because we sew the seams using a 'Double French Seaming' technique, anti-wick thread and smaller needle sizes which in turn make smaller holes. All this minimises leakages. It may take longer to sew, but we believe it is worth it! |

 | QUICK & EASY CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM Our Traditional Marquees are designed to be constructed quickly, even the pull up system enables the king poles to go up together. To make life easier our system applies double purchase tackles at the lace points, corners and intermediary points giving you 4 times body weight when pulling the tent out. |
POLES, PEGS, ROPES & DOLLIES We use natural and sustainable materials to enhance the traditional aspect of our marquees. Traditional Pole Marquee - King Poles are scandanvian Pine wood, wall poles are Redwood. Tensioned Pole Marquee - Aluminium King and Wall Poles are used throughout. Pegs - steel guy stakes, wooden wall pegs Ropes - natural fibres are used throughout Dollies - range of dollies for King or Wall Poles are available; from Arabian to Round. |
